Cyriopagopus Hainanus

Cyriopagopus hainanus, as an endemic species in Hainan, is the largest spider in Hainan, which can prey on insects and small animals passing by the cave where it inhabits. It is also known as the Hainan Tarantulas with a lot of popular legends related to them in Hainan folk.

Habitat

It prefers to nest in the slopes and crevices on the edge of forest and roadside, with the surface of the original-shaped hole covered with gossamer.
